Winners of Best World Music Act at the 2007 Boston Phoenix Music Awards, The Superpowers play an eclectic mix of afrobeat, funk, and jazz. This 10-piece band brings hard-hitting grooves and soulful melodies to the dance floor.

Rubblebucket Orchestra is a 10-piece Afro-trance group led by two members of John Brown's Body. Their sound is "Fela Kuti meets James Brown meets Portishead"
