Important reminders

Transfer times vary. Most point transfers happen instantly, but some can take up to 7 business days.

Points transfers are final. Once you move credit card points to a transfer partner, you cannot move them back.

You can enroll in and link a frequent flyer program beforehand. This way, you’ll be ready to make the points transfer when you see a points deal.

Only transfer the amount of credit card points you need to make a booking.

Chase transfer partners

Chase has 11 airline partners and three hotel partners. You can transfer your Ultimate Rewards® points to any of these partners.

Chase airline transfer partners

The following are the 11 airline programs that are Chase transfer partners:

  • Aer Lingus AerClub
  • Air Canada Aeroplan
  • Air France / KLM Flying Blue
  • British Airways Executive Club
  • Emirates Skywards
  • Iberia Plus
  • JetBlue TrueBlue
  • Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer
  • Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards
  • United MileagePlus
  • Virgin Atlantic Flying Club

All points transfer at a one to one (1:1) ratio, which means that one Chase point is equivalent to one mile or point with all of these loyalty programs, once transferred.

Anecdotally, transfers to all these partners are relatively instantaneous, with one exception: transfers to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer usually take 24 hours to process.

Chase hotel partners

Chase’s currently has three hotel transfer partners.

  • IHG Rewards
  • Marriott Bonvoy
  • World of Hyatt

All points transfer at a 1:1 ratio to these programs. Transfers to IHG Rewards and World of Hyatt are instant, but transfers to Marriott may take a day or two.

Transferring points to hotels rarely maximizes your points' value, except for transfers to World of Hyatt.

Cards that earn Chase points

The following cards earn flexible Chase points that you can transfer to airline and hotel partners:

Cash-back Chase credit cards

Four Chase cards are technically cash-back rewards cards, but if you hold one of the three travel cards mentioned above, you could combine your Chase points, allowing you to convert your cash-back points into travel points.

This applies to the following cards:
