Our take

The card_name from Chase is a great card for small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to earn flat cash back on all purchases. It pairs well with Chase’s suite of travel cards.

Pros and cons

Pros:

  • No maximum on earning rewards

Cons: 

  • Foreign transaction fee
  • Earns cash back: You would also need one of the following cards in order to transfer points for travel: Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve® Card, or Ink Business Preferred® Card 
  • No bonus categories: Other cards can earn higher, if you’re willing to track spending categories

The Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card from Chase is a no-annual-fee business credit card that earns cash-back rewards at a flat 1.5%. If you are a freelancer, sole proprietor, or entrepreneur who doesn’t want to stress about tracking bonus categories, this card could be a great fit.

This will enable you to transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to airline and hotel partners and redeem them for free flights or hotel stays.

Alternatives to Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card

Ink Business Cash® Credit Card

If don’t mind tracking spending categories, or if your business expenses are concentrated on office supplies or internet, cable, and phone services, the card_name might be a better choice. You can earn 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent each account anniversary on office supply stores and on internet, cable, and phone services. You can also earn 2% cash back on the first $25,000 spent each account anniversary on gas stations or restaurants.
